Sailing on a catamaran – a different type of vacation

Holidays and travel are the most valued hobby of most people after the car. A more popular type of holiday is an all-inclusive holiday, in countries such as Spain, Turkey or the Dominican Republic. Really adventurous people will either fight through the jungles of South America or reserve a safari in the Sahara Desert. Others like to discover and explore a country or city to discover its history and culture. Or, as in Dubai, experience the highest level of pampered luxury.

A completely different type of vacation to all of these is a catamaran vacation. Imagine you are in the net between the hulls of your catamaran in the sun, while the waves gently lift the boat and all the stress of everyday life is forgotten. Breakfast on the deck and enjoy the sunrise.

Worrying about lack of space should not be a problem. A catamaran will often have a surface area of ‚Äč‚Äčabout 100 square meters and offer great comfort. The bunk beds are on the ships and in most cases have a headboard of 2 meters or more than 6 feet.

Under sailing, you can visit almost every destination in the world.

Among the possibilities in Europe are Spain, France, Croatia and Italy. Probably the most popular sailing area in the Mediterranean is around the Greek islands.

You can also visit the French Polynesia islands around Bora Bora and its beautiful little atolls.

There are many fascinating attractions to see in the Caribbean, including the ABC islands of Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao, in northern Venezuela or the island of Martinique.

Catamaran sailing doesn’t have to be as expensive as you might think, because many catamaran owners are looking to fund their nautical adventures around the world and will take travelers on vacation. These patterns will have many interesting stories to tell. And you will too when the holidays are over.
